ABSTRACT
Objectives:
To analyze the evolution of the use of digital technologies in today's educational context, with particular focus on the integration of traditional teaching methods with distance or blended learning approaches.
To explore how technologies, when consciously integrated with appropriate teaching methodologies, can transform the educational relationship, promoting more symmetrical and cooperative dynamics between teachers and students.
Material and methods:
The study adopts a qualitative-descriptive approach to analyze the integration of digital technologies in blended learning. The research was conducted in secondary schools in the Lazio region, involving teachers and students engaged in hybrid educational programs. Tools such as Moodle, Google Classroom, Zoom, and multimedia materials were used to support learning.
Results:
The results show that the integration of digital technologies in blended learning fostered greater student engagement, thanks to interactive tools and customizable learning paths. The educational relationship became more symmetrical, encouraging cooperative dynamics between teachers and students. The use of multimedia resources allowed for the accommodation of different learning styles, improving accessibility and inclusiveness.
Conclusions:
The innovative methodologies analyzed show that the digital transformation of education requires more than just new tools—it demands a rethinking of teaching and learning processes. Strategies such as cooperative learning, flipped classroom, and microlearning foster active, participatory, and personalized learning, enhancing student autonomy and collaboration. Despite their differences, these approaches share a common goal: placing the student at the center of the educational experience while promoting cognitive, social, and emotional skills.
