ABSTRACT
Objectives:
The research objective was the issue of inheritance of an inherited estate by a minor heir in the Polish legal system. In particular, a case study was undertaken in several completed court proceedings concerning the same minor heir. The planned and implemented case study is interdisciplinary in nature, due to the fact that it concerns civil and criminal law, but also the economics of procedure and selected aspects.

Material and methods:
Diagnostic studies were conducted based on three legally concluded court proceedings. In carrying out the case study, the legal-dogmatic method and analysis and synthesis were used. Linguistic and systemic interpretation were widely used.

Results:
The research goal adopted at the beginning was achieved by analyzing the factual and legal status of three selected court proceedings out of all the proceedings that the minor heir had to deal with. The issue turns out to be very extensive and requires further scientific research. Namely, the criminological aspects related to the burning of an excavator belonging to the inheritance, the hanging of vulgar banners, the attempt to break in and steal the Volvo indicate that, given the helplessness of law enforcement agencies and the failure to identify the perpetrators, even more extensive projects are necessary, providing in more detail the possible movements of people hostile to the minor heir.

Conclusions:
The case study provided answers to the problem questions to a large extent. Legal steps and stages of strategic moves in managing the inheritance belonging to the minor heir must be undertaken by: a lawyer competent in imagination, an accountant, but exceptionally high expectations are placed on the living parent of the minor heir.
