ABSTRACT
The small and medium-sized enterprises are an important element of the EU
economy. They contribute most to the GDP of the Member States and the EU. In order
to support their development and increase the possibilities of access to innovative
technologies, the Executive Agency Development of Small and Medium Enterprises
was created by the European Commission in 2013. The agency is also a part of the
of tasks of decentralization of the Community. The agency was entrusted with the
disposal of the EU programs supporting the development of small and medium-sized
enterprises. In this perspective, the question arises about keeping the commitments
towards small and medium-sized enterprises.
